We are hiring a Security Site Supervisor to work at an industrial location in Joliet, IL .  

Great schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm

Responsibilities of Security Supervisors include but are not limited to:

• Oversee daily yard operations, including comprehensive yard checks and trailer management
• Maintain accurate real-time tracking of trailer count and yard inventory
• Supervise  inbound and outbound loads
• Ensure strict adherence to operational protocols and safety standards
• Manage and develop team members, providing clear guidance and performance expectations
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement strategies
• Troubleshoot operational challenges and develop efficient solutions
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of yard activities and trailer movements

Required Qualifications of Security Supervisors:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3 years’ experience as a security officer or directly related position
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Security Supervisors:
• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
