Security Director

Marksman-Titan is currently looking to hire a Security Director to work an an assigned location in the Mount Clemens, Michigan Area.

• Manage a team of Security Officers, Site and Shift Supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training and development, coaching and support.
• Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services and build and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees.
• Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations.
• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Must be able to walk 5-10 miles per shift doing rounds
• Must have good working knowledge of computers, sending emails, logging information
• Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Monitor the assigned lots and conduct mobile patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.  
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV systems as needed.
• Ensure guests and vendors are properly greeted when entering the building.
• Observe departing personnel to guard against theft.
• Monitor security cameras that are within the facility.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Education and/or Experience: Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Management or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years in a managerial or Leadership role, and in the law enforcement or contract security field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a security officer

• Driver’s license and satisfactory DMV history
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
