We are currently seeking qualified security officers to fill positions on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises during their designated shifts, demonstrating a high level of vigilance and professionalism in maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Rover Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors as required

• Conduct patrols and stand post outside, observing and reporting suspicious activity
• Conduct patrols (could be walking up to 10 miles per day) to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

• 1+ year experience as an unarmed security officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel or residential position

• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for extended periods of time, completing foot patrols of up to 10 miles a day, working in inclement weather

 

 

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

 Customer service experience and at least one (1) to two (2) years of security experience.
