Overview

The Security Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and deployment of Titan Security’s vehicle fleet. This role ensures that security vehicles are fully operational, properly maintained, and strategically allocated to support security operations. The ideal candidate has strong fleet management experience, understands security operations, and can optimize fleet performance to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Fleet Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the company’s security vehicle fleet, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and operational readiness.
  • Vehicle Maintenance & Compliance: Schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Fleet Allocation & Deployment: Coordinate vehicle assignments to security teams based on operational needs, location, and urgency.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting: Manage fleet-related expenses, including fuel, repairs, leasing, and insurance, while optimizing cost efficiency.
  • Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Work with vehicle maintenance providers, leasing companies, and fuel suppliers to ensure reliable service and cost-effective solutions.
  • Compliance & Safety Regulations: Ensure all fleet operations adhere to local, state, and federal transportation and security regulations. 
  • Technology & Tracking: Implement and oversee GPS tracking, telematics, and reporting tools to monitor fleet performance, vehicle usage, and driver behavior.
  • Incident Management & Driver Accountability: Investigate vehicle incidents, implement corrective actions, and maintain records of accidents, repairs, and driver performance including a driver accountability program that includes disciplinary actions, penalties, or cost-sharing measures for employees who receive traffic violations, cause preventable accidents, or fail to follow fleet safety policies.
  • Training & Driver Management: Provide training and guidance to security personnel on vehicle policies, safety protocols, and defensive driving techniques.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Explore environmentally friendly fleet solutions, including fuel-efficient or electric vehicle options, to align with company sustainability goals.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years (8-10+ preferred) of experience in fleet management, security operations, or logistics, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and compliance.
  • Certifications: Fleet management certifications (CFM, NAFA, ASE) are a plus.
  • Travel: 25-50%

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of fleet tracking systems and vehicle maintenance best practices.
  • Ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
  • Understanding of security operations and emergency response logistics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with drivers, vendors, and security personnel.
