Key Responsibilities:

As a Security Officer, you’ll:

• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, vendors, and patrons, offering directions and general information.
• Control access points as required.
• Patrol the property (up to 10 miles per day) to ensure safety and security.
• Observe and report suspicious activity while standing post or patrolling outside.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies, and document all events accurately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in unarmed security, customer service, retail, hospitality, or a residential setting.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC).
• Clean driving record.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Physical readiness to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, complete foot patrols (up to 10 miles/day), and work in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• 1–2 years of prior security experience.

Pay and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $21.00 / hour.
