Overview

Titan Security is currently hiring for Security Officers to work at a location in the Warren area. Positions available include mobile patrol and access control.

 

As a Mobile Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and safety of our premises through regular patrols and checkpoints. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct mobile patrols, monitor designated areas, and ensure compliance with security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or any other security breaches.

 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the Lot: Regularly patrol the lot on foot or in a vehicle to ensure all areas are secure and no suspicious activity is occurring.
  • Maintain Visibility: Ensure high visibility by periodically stopping and patrolling different areas of the lot to deter criminal activity.
  • Monitor Entry and Exit Points: Ensure that only authorized personnel and vehicles are entering or exiting the lot by checking identification, vehicle registration, or other access control protocols.
  • Check Gates and Barriers: Ensure that gates, barriers, and fences are functioning properly and remain secure. Report any damage or malfunction immediately.
  • Perform Routine Mobile and Foot Patrols: Patrol the lot, both on foot and by vehicle, to ensure security and identify potential vulnerabilities or risks.
  • Observe for Security Threats: Watch for suspicious behavior, loitering individuals, or any signs of illegal activities such as theft, vandalism, or drug use.
  • Incident Reporting: Immediately report any security breaches, safety hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate authorities or management, and document the incident thoroughly.
  • Conduct Electronic Checkpoint Scans: Use handheld devices or mobile apps to scan pre-designated checkpoints throughout the lot during patrols (e.g., gates, entry points, high-risk areas).
  • Ensure Timely Scans: Complete scans at specific intervals (e.g., every 15-30 minutes) to ensure security patrols are being conducted as scheduled.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security-related fields is preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to security protocols will be considered.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform regular patrols on foot or by vehicle, often in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. Must be capable of standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving objects.

Communication Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying information effectively and documenting security incidents accurately.

Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills and attention to detail are crucial for detecting potential security threats and ensuring thorough reporting.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to think critically and respond calmly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.

Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to adapt to changing security needs and priorities.

Additional Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

 

Compensation & Benefis:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, hourly wages will be based on location. Starting wages $14.00 / per hour
