Titan Security Group, of the fastest-growing privately-held security services providers in the state of Michigan, is currently hiring Security Officers to work at various locations throughout the Detroit Metropolitian Area.

 

As a Security Officer with Titan Security Group, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties. You will be responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents to ensure a secure environment. This role requires a vigilant and proactive individual with a strong commitment to maintaining high security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
  • Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
  • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
  • Maintaining A Secure entrance and exit to the Facility.
  • Checking vehicle passes to make sure the vehicles are allowed on property.
  • Checking semi trucks paperwork and directing them to the proper gate
  • Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and an extensive background check
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a security office
  • Valid Drivers License / Clean Driving record

  • Compensation based on qualifications, experience, and assignment, up to $14.00 / Hour with opportunities for overtime.
