    Titan Security Group is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Residential Security Officer to work at a residential property located in the RiverNorth / Streeterville.

    Responsibilities

    Pool and Deck Area Attendant

    Pool Area Attendants are responsible for maintaining the pool and deck area in a professional manner.  Following is a general list that Pool Attendants are expected to carry out.  Please see your site specific post orders or talk with your manager for site specific directions.

    • Pool Attendant should conduct an initial inspection of the pool area. Determine that the pool and deck area is kept in a professional manner at start of shift.  Pool Attendant needs to conduct an end of shift inspection to make sure the area is presentable before ending their shift. 
    • Access to pool area – Confirm person entering the pool area is a resident and that they are allowed up to two (2) guests. Some sites use wristbands provided by property management for this purpose.  If wristbands are used, check for wristband to confirm access.
    • While on duty the Pool Attendant needs to monitor for unsafe activity:
      • Excessive alcohol consumption
      • Rude and/or obnoxious behavior
      • No running on the deck or pool area
      • No diving
      • No horseplay (People on shoulders/Chicken Fights)
    • No GLASS containers – Drinks are allowed, but plastic or disposable cups must be used
    • Pool Attendant is to maintain the pool and deck area in a presentable manner:
      • Pick up towels
      • Return pool furniture (Chairs) to original location
      • Replace patio furniture cushions to proper locations
      • Throw out garbage – if left behind
      • Any personal items left behind – place in Lost and Found
      • Notify maintenance to remove garbage cans that are full
    • Monitoring of grilling area – Notify maintenance:
      • If grill needs cleaning
      • If grill needs service
    • Notify maintenance of spills
    • Know location of Life Safety equipment
      • Fire extinguishers
      • AEDS
      • Emergency stairwells
    • Utilize 2 way radio for communication (If applicable)
    • Call 911 for emergency situations

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience:  High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year prior satisfactory employment as a door staff professional or in a customer service position.  Must be at least 21 years of age.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois PERC, including state accredited training requirements. 

    Language Skills:  Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual considered a plus.

    Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Other Qualifications:  Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.  Must maintain a working telephone number though which we can contact you.  [OPEN - ability to use personal vehicle for work]

    Physical Demands:  The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather. 

    Salary & Benefits: Compensation is between $12.00 and $13.00 per hour based on experience, plus paid time off, medical insurance, dental insurance, paid holidays, and pension/retirement benefits. Skills-enhancing training and opportunities for career growth and promotion.
