Titan Security Group is looking for a Security Director to join our team! We are seeking a Director of Security to work at a Pharmaceutical Headquarters in Northbrook, Illinois, reporting to the building’s General Manager. The individual will work with building management, building ownership, and the contracted security staff to maintain all aspects of physical, personnel and visitor security and life safety. This position will also manage all aspects of emergency preparedness including development, training and drills. The position also includes high-level oversight of security at various locations in the Americas as described below. We are seeking a customerfocused and results-oriented professional that possesses strong influencing skill and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task.

Education and/or Experience: BS Degree in Corporate Information Security, Criminal Justice or related field and/or equivalent experience/education preferred. Minimum of seven years of managerial and policy making experience in the security field. Prior employment history demonstrating the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, and produce accurate results in a highly-organized manner.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Board Certified in Security Management; Certified Protection Professional (CPP); Certified Information Security System Professional (CISSP); Physical Security Professional (PSP) or similar certifications.
Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Computer Skills: Ability to create and manage budgets, budget variance reports and other reports in Excel.
Other Qualifications: Must possess excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, financial and time management skills with the ability to concisely and effectively address questions while providing subject matter expertise on policy to ownership and management. Strong qualitative and quantitative skills. Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, establish workflow priorities and work independently with high attention to detail. Ability to start, cultivate and maintain strong relations and work in a team environment
Physical Demands: Standard office environment.
Travel: Travel will be required (approximately 20% of the time).
